Louisiana High School Basketball - Covington knocked off by Franklinton

The Franklinton Demons basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Covington Lions to 67 in the Demons non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Demons now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christ Episcopal School for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Franklinton will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 53-51 non-league loss to International (New Orleans, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-3.
The Lions (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA). The enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Lakeshore ran past Pine (Franklinton, LA), 59-46, in a non-league contest.
