De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL), 63-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, De La Salle upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Meteors host Chicago Mt. Carmel (Chicago, IL) to play the Caravan in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Caravan come into the bout with a record of 7-1. Chicago Mt. Carmel won 58-44 in their recent non-league bout against Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL)

Next up, the Spartans play the St. Francis de Sales Pioneers (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. St. Francis will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Pioneers come into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 50-47 non-league loss to Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL).
