The Ell-Saline Cardinals basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Minneapolis Lions to 29 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Solomon for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Ell-Saline will meet a Gorillas team coming off a 64-18 non-league loss to Bennington (Bennington, KS). The Gorillas record now stands at 0-1.
The Lions (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bennington (Bennington, KS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Bennington triumphed over Solomon (Solomon, KS), 64-18, in a non-league contest.
