Fort Thomas Apaches (Fort Thomas, AZ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Valley Lutheran Flames (Phoenix, AZ), 51-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Fort Thomas upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Apaches travel to Holbrook (Holbrook, AZ) to play the Roadrunners in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Roadrunners come into the bout with a record of 4-3. Holbrook won 67-46 in their recent non-league bout against Ganado (Ganado, AZ)

Next up, the Flames play the Hayden Lobos (Winkelman, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Valley Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Lobos come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 41-36 league win over Joseph City (Joseph City, AZ).
