Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Gary West Side Cougars (Gary, IN), 62-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lake Central upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Indians host Culver Academies (Culver, IN) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Culver Academies won 45-39 in their recent non-league bout against Northridge (Middlebury, IN)

Next up, the Cougars play the Hammond Central Wolves (Hammond, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Gary West Side will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 70-64 non-league win over Bowman Academy (Gary, IN).
