Colorado High School Basketball - Gilpin County knocked off by West Grand

December 5, 2023: Kremmling, CO 80459

The West Grand Mustangs basketball team scored 29 points and held the visiting Gilpin County Eagles to 16 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Park for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. West Grand will battle a Burros team coming off a 38-37 non-league loss to Cripple Creek-Victor (Cripple Creek, CO). The Burros record now stands at 0-2.

The Eagles (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Flatirons Academy (Westminster, CO). The Bison enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Flatirons Academy ran past Cedaredge (Cedaredge, CO), 76-43, in a non-league contest.
