Louisiana High School Basketball - Hammond routs Varnado

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Hammond Tornadoes (Hammond, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Varnado Wildcats (Angie, LA), by a margin of 77-35.

The Tornadoes (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league outing with a 8-1 record. In their last outing, Denham Springs smashed Benton (Benton, LA), 62-52, in a non-league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Crescent City Christian for a 1A District 10 outing on Wednesday, December 6. Varnado will clash with a Pioneers squad coming off a 63-40 non-league win over Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA). The Pioneers record now stands at 7-3.
