North Carolina High School Basketball - Hertford County crushes Rocky Mount

December 5, 2023: Rocky Mount, NC 27803

Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Rocky Mount Gryphons (Rocky Mount, NC), 76-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hertford County upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bears host Currituck County (Barco, NC) to clash with the Knights in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal bout on Friday, December 8. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Currituck County won 81-41 in their recent non-league bout against Perquimans (Hertford, NC)

Next up, the Gryphons clash with the Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Rocky Mount will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 42-40 non-league loss to Beddingfield (Wilson, NC).
