The Hirschi Huskies basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Vernon Lions to 19 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Huskies now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rider for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Hirschi will battle a Raiders team coming off a 95-79 non-league win over Burkburnett (Burkburnett, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 4-1.

The Lions (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Floydada (Floydada, TX). The Whirlwinds enter the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Floydada was routed by Littlefield (Littlefield, TX), 68-58, in a non-league contest.
