The Valley Springs Tigers (Valley Springs, AR) basketball crushed the visiting Jasper Pirates (Jasper, AR), 82-49 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Tigers (16-3) will now prepare for their test against Shiloh Christian (Springdale, AR). The Saints go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Shiloh Christian was trounced by Elkins (Elkins, AR), 67-62, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alpena for a 1A Region 1 East contest on Thursday, December 7. Jasper will battle a Leopards team coming off a 75-42 non-league loss to Dermott (Dermott, AR). The Leopards record now stands at 6-9.
