The Luther Prep Phoenix basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Jefferson Eagles to 59 in the Phoenix non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Phoenix now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to University School of Milwaukee for a Midwest Classic contest on Thursday, December 7. Luther Prep will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 71-38 league loss to Heritage Christian (New Berlin, WI). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.

The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Delavan-Darien (Delavan, WI). The Comets enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Delavan-Darien nudged Williams Bay (Williams Bay, WI), 87-49, in a non-league contest.
