Illinois High School Basketball - Lakes can't hold off Niles West

The Niles West Wolves basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Lakes Eagles to 50 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wolves now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Niles North for a Central Suburban - North contest on Friday, December 8. Niles West will battle a Vikings team coming off a 64-47 league win over Maine West (Des Plaines, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 5-1.

The Eagles (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL). The Skyhawks enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record.
