Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host South Forsyth War Eagles (Cumming, GA), 67-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lanier upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Sequoyah (Canton, GA) to clash with the Chiefs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Sequoyah won 82-79 in their recent league bout against River Ridge (Woodstock, GA)

Next up, the War Eagles clash with the West Forsyth Wolverines (Cumming, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 6 bout, on Friday, December 8. South Forsyth will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 63-57 non-league win over Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA).
