Georgia High School Basketball - South Cobb nudges Marietta

South Cobb Eagles (Austell, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Marietta Blue Devils (Marietta, GA), 57-55 in a non-league bout.
With the win, South Cobb upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Lakeside (Atlanta, GA) to clash with the Vikings in a AAAAAA Region 4 bout on Friday, December 8. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Lakeside won 73-16 in their recent non-league bout against Cross Keys (Atlanta, GA)
Next up, the Blue Devils clash with the McEachern Indians (Powder Springs, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 3 bout, on Friday, December 8. Marietta will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 84-64 non-league win over Pebblebrook (Mableton, GA).
