Kentucky High School Basketball - Simon Kenton ripped by Mason County

The Mason County Royals basketball team scored 83 points and held the host Simon Kenton Pioneers to 62 in the Royals non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Royals now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Green County for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Mason County will battle a Dragons team coming off a 77-57 non-league win over Anderson County (Lawrenceburg, KY). The Dragons record now stands at 1-2.

The Pioneers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against North Oldham (Goshen, KY). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, North Oldham triumphed over Charlestown (Charlestown, IN), 69-45, in a non-league contest.
