The Mechanicsburg Wildcats basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Red Lion Lions to 40 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Milton Hershey for a Mid-Penn - Keystone contest on Tuesday, December 12. Mechanicsburg will meet a Spartans team coming off a 72-60 non-league loss to Trinity (Camp Hill, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-1.

The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Governor Mifflin (Shillington, PA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.
