Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting River Valley Blackhawks (Spring Green, WI), 82-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mineral Point upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Pointers travel to Southwestern (Hazel Green, WI) to clash with the Wildcats in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities bout on Thursday, December 7. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Southwestern lost 64-51 in their recent non-league bout against River Ridge (Patch Grove, WI)

Next up, the Blackhawks clash with the Platteville Hillmen (Platteville, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin bout, on Friday, December 8. River Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Hillmen go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 73-66 non-league loss to Darlington (Darlington, WI).
