In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Javelinas (Pharr, TX) basketball squad felled the host Porter Cowboys (Brownsville, TX), by a margin of 45-33.

The Javelinas (2-10) will now prepare for their outing against Rowe (McAllen, TX). The Warriors go into the 5A Region IV District 31 outing with a 9-4 record.

The Cowboys now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Economedes for a non-league outing on Friday, December 8. Porter will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 55-40 non-league win over IDEA Quest College Prep (Edinburg, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 8-6.
