Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sam Houston Broncos (Lake Charles, LA) and the visiting Washington-Marion Charging Indians (Lake Charles, LA), saw Sam Houston's basketball squad overcome Washington-Marion by a tally of 54-42.

With the victory, Sam Houston improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Broncos host Northwest (Opelousas, LA) to confront the Raiders in a non-league test on Thursday, December 7. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Charging Indians now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Barbe for a non-league test on Monday, December 11. Washington-Marion will encounter a Buccaneers squad coming off a 63-44 non-league win over Reeves (Reeves, LA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 3-2.
