Samuell Spartans (Dallas, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Venus Bulldogs (Venus, TX), 71-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Samuell upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Spartans host Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX) to clash with the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 11-1.

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Windthorst Trojans (Windthorst, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Venus will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 58-52 non-league win over Iowa Park (Iowa Park, TX).
