Southwest Christian Stars (Chaska, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host St. Croix Lutheran Crusaders (West St. Paul, MN), 72-64 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southwest Christian upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Stars host Legacy Christian Academy (Andover, MN) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Legacy Christian Academy won 75-60 in their recent non-league bout against PACT Charter (Ramsey, MN)

Next up, the Crusaders clash with the Washington Tech Eagles (St. Paul, MN) in a AA Section 4 bout, on Friday, December 8. St. Croix Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 79-65 non-league win over Community of Peace Academy (St. Paul, MN).
