The Worthington Trojans basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles to 57 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marshall for a AAA Section 2 contest on Friday, December 8. Worthington will meet a Tigers team coming off a 85-50 non-league win over Willmar (Willmar, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Edgerton (Edgerton, MN). The Flying Dutchmen enter the A Section 3 contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Edgerton triumphed over Adrian/Ellsworth (Adrian, MN), 69-67, in a league contest.
