The Windom Eagles basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers to 71 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Redwood Valley for a AA Section 3 contest on Friday, December 8. Windom will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 54-50 league win over Montevideo (Montevideo, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-0.
The Chargers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Adrian/Ellsworth for a A Section 3 outing on Thursday, December 7. Westbrook-Walnut Grove will clash with a Dragons squad coming off a 69-67 league loss to Edgerton (Edgerton, MN). The Dragons record now stands at 0-2.
