Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM), 77-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Espanola Valley upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Sundevils travel to St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM) to play the Horsemen in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Horsemen come into the bout with a record of 1-0. St. Michael's won 73-53 in their recent non-league bout against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM)

Next up, the Chargers play the Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Albuquerque Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
