In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN) basketball squad beat the visiting Apple Valley Eagles (Apple Valley, MN), by a margin of 64-51.
The Spartans (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against Minneapolis Southwest (Minneapolis, MN). The Lakers go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Minneapolis Southwest defeated Burnsville (Burnsville, MN), 65-51, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to St. Croix Prep for a non-league outing on Friday, December 8. Apple Valley will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 69-64 non-league win over North (North St. Paul, MN). The Lions record now stands at 2-0.
