In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Arcola Purple Riders basketball team scored a tight 59-52 triumph over the Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg .

In their next game, the Purple Riders meet the Sullivan Redskins (Sullivan, IL) in a Lincoln Prairie match, on Thursday, December 7. Arcola will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Redskins enter the match with a 2-5 record after their 70-2 league win over Heritage (Broadlands, IL).
