Aubrey Chaparrals (Aubrey, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Independence Knights (Frisco, TX), 52-27 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Aubrey upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Chaparrals travel to Weatherford Christian (Weatherford, TX) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Weatherford Christian won 45-44 in their recent non-league bout against Coram Deo Academy (Flower Mound, TX)
Next up, the Knights play the Denton Broncos (Denton, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Independence will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 58-10 non-league win over South Hills (Fort Worth, TX).
