Bethany Bronchos (Bethany, OK) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Kingfisher Yellowjackets (Kingfisher, OK), 49-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bethany upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bronchos travel to Van Buren (Van Buren, AR) to play the Pointers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Pointers come into the bout with a record of 6-0. Van Buren won 53-23 in their recent non-league bout against Ozark (Ozark, AR)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Tuttle Tigers (Tuttle, OK) in a Western bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Kingfisher will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
