Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals (Blue Island, IL), 53-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Hillcrest upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Hawks travel to Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL) to clash with the Red Wolves in a South Suburban - Blue bout on Thursday, December 7. The Red Wolves go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Thornton Fractional South won 59-15 in their recent league bout against Argo (Summit, IL)

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL) in a South Suburban - Red bout, on Thursday, December 7. Blue Island Eisenhower will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 50-38 league win over Lemont (Lemont, IL).
