The Boonville Pioneers basketball team (Boonville, IN), was nudged 48-43 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Castle Knights (Newburgh, IN)
The Knights now possess a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evansville Mater Dei for a Southern Indiana battle on Thursday, December 7. Castle will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 60-16 non-league win over Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-5.
The Pioneers (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Princeton (Princeton, IN). The Tigers come into the Pocket battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, Princeton edged Decatur Central (Indianapolis, IN), 78-74, in a non-league battle.
