Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY), 47-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Great Crossing upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The travel to Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY) to clash with the Braves in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Grant County won 50-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Madison Southern (Berea, KY)

Next up, the Colonels play the Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY) in a District 40 challenge, on Friday, December 15. Bourbon County will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record.
