Louisiana High School Basketball - Buckeye can't hold off Montgomery

The Montgomery Tigers basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the visiting Buckeye Panthers to 42 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calvin for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Montgomery will battle a Cougars team coming off a 65-23 non-league win over Downsville (Downsville, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 6-3.

The Panthers (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Pitkin (Pitkin, LA). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Pitkin edged Jennings (Jennings, LA), 67-46, in a non-league contest.
