Cabrillo Conquistadores (Lompoc, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Nipomo Titans (Nipomo, CA), 44-24 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cabrillo upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Conquistadores travel to Polytechnic (Pasadena, CA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 2-5. Polytechnic lost 51-35 in their recent non-league bout against Holy Martyrs Armenian (Encino, CA)

Next up, the Titans play the Morro Bay Pirates (Morro Bay, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Nipomo will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 57-25 non-league win over Golden Valley (Bakersfield, CA).
