The Central Private Redhawks (Baker, LA) basketball nipped the visiting Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets (New Roads, LA), 37-31 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Redhawks (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Episcopal (Baton Rouge, LA). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Episcopal got by Morgan City (Morgan City, LA), 54-28, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Belaire for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7.
