Gaston Bulldogs (Gadsden, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Comer Tigers (Sylacauga, AL), 35-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gaston upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Bulldogs host Hokes Bluff (Hokes Bluff, AL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-4.

Next up, the Tigers play the Lincoln Golden Bears (Lincoln, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Comer will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Golden Bears go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 37-33 non-league win over Leeds (Leeds, AL).
