In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Conant Cougars (Hoffman Estates, IL) basketball squad nipped the host Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL), by a margin of 40-35.
The Cougars (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Barrington (Barrington, IL). The Fillies/Broncos go into the Mid-Suburban - West outing with a 7-2 record. In their last outing, Barrington got by Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL), 36-32, in a non-league outing.
