The Connally Cadets tipped the visiting Midway Panthers basketball team by a final score of 46-44 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Cadets face the Breckenridge Buckaroos (Breckenridge, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, December 7. Connally will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Buckaroos enter the game with a 3-9 record after their 50-45 non-league loss to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX).
With the defeat, Midway moves to 7-9 on the year. The Panthers host Hutto (Hutto, TX) to face the Hippos in a 6A Region II District 12 game on Friday, December 8. The Hippos enter the game with a record of 6-12. Hutto lost 74-25 in their recent non-league game against Glenn (Leander, TX)
