With the win, Covenant Christian Academy upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Lions travel to Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA) to clash with the in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Ascension Christian won 47-29 in their recent non-league bout against Slaughter Community Charter (Slaughter, LA)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Terrebonne Tigers (Houma, LA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Morgan City will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 54-26 non-league win over Centerville (Centerville, LA).
