Crookston Pirates (Crookston, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Red Lake Falls Eagles (Red Lake Falls, MN), 58-54 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Crookston upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Pirates host Warroad (Warroad, MN) to play the Warriors in a AA Section 8 bout on Friday, December 8. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-2.
Next up, the Eagles play the Kittson Central/Lancaster Bearcats (Hallock, MN) in a A Section 8 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Red Lake Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
