New Mexico High School Basketball - Wingate overwhelmed by Cuba

December 5, 2023: Cuba, NM 87013

The Cuba Rams basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Wingate Bears to 34 in the Rams non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Rams now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crownpoint for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Cuba will battle a Eagles team coming off a 48-16 non-league win over Grants (Grants, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.

The Bears (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Navajo Pine (Navajo, NM). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Navajo Pine was routed by Hozho Academy (Gallup, NM), 36-18, in a non-league contest.
