The Richland Springs Coyotes basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting De Leon Bearcats to 43 in the Coyotes non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Coyotes now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ballinger for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Richland Springs will meet a Bearcats team coming off a 61-41 non-league loss to Eula (Clyde, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 7-5.

The Bearcats (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hico (Hico, TX). The Tigers enter the 2A Region II District 11 contest with a 1-12 record.
