Kansas High School Basketball - Derby can't hold off McPherson

The McPherson Bullpups basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Derby Panthers to 54 in the Bullpups non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Bullpups now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Andover for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. McPherson will battle a Trojans team coming off a 58-18 non-league win over Maize (Maize, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 2-0.

The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Andover Central (Andover, KS). The Jaguars come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Andover Central edged Haysville Campus (Wichita, KS), 66-13, in a non-league contest.
