The Henderson Lions basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Gary Bobcats to 38 in the Lions non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Gorman for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Henderson will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 46-19 non-league loss to Troup (Troup, TX). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-7.
The Bobcats (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Shelbyville (Shelbyville, TX). The Dragons come into the 2A Region III District 23 contest with a 8-4 record.
