In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Grand Prairie Gophers (Grand Prairie, TX) basketball squad felled the host Spruce Timberwolves (Dallas, TX), by a margin of 45-27.
The Gophers (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Sam Houston (Arlington, TX). The Texans go into the 6A Region I District 8 outing with a 0-8 record.
The Timberwolves now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to West Mesquite for a 5A Region II District 12 outing on Tuesday, December 12. Spruce will clash with a Wranglers squad coming off a 51-20 non-league loss to Martin (Arlington, TX). The Wranglers record now stands at 1-12.
