West Delaware Hawks (Manchester, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Grinnell Tigers (Grinnell, IA), 62-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Delaware upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Hawks travel to Benton (Van Horne, IA) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Benton lost 53-45 in their recent non-league bout against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Solon Spartans (Solon, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Grinnell will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 61-20 non-league win over Vinton-Shellsburg (Vinton, IA).
