The Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Hallettsville Brahmas to 50 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bobcats now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calallen for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Skidmore-Tynan will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 46-27 non-league win over Rockport-Fulton (Rockport, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-4.

The Brahmas (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Palacios (Palacios, TX). The Sharks enter the 3A Region IV District 25 contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Palacios nudged El Campo (El Campo, TX), 61-27, in a non-league contest.
