The Hillsboro Burros basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet Royals to 29 in the Burros non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Burros now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Independence for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Hillsboro will battle a Eagles team coming off a 58-44 non-league loss to Cane Ridge (Nashville, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 4-2.
The Royals (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Livingston Academy (Livingston, TN). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Livingston Academy triumphed over Clarkrange (Clarkrange, TN), 59-58, in a non-league contest.
