The Jonesboro Hurricane basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Jacksonville Titans to 29 in the Hurricane non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hurricane now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paragould for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Jonesboro will battle a Rams team coming off a 50-16 non-league loss to Bryant (Bryant, AR). The Rams record now stands at 0-4.
The Titans (0-5) will now prepare for their bout against Vilonia (Vilonia, AR). The Eagles go into the 5A Central bout with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, Vilonia was crushed by Nettleton (Jonesboro, AR), 55-53, in a non-league bout.
