    In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Kermit Yellow Jackets basketball team scored a good 50-33 triumph over the Jal Panthers.

    In their next game, the Yellow Jackets meet the Andrews Mustangs (Andrews, TX) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 7. Kermit will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 2-8 record after their 20-19 non-league loss to Brownfield (Brownfield, TX).

    With the defeat, Jal moves to 0-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Wink (Wink, TX) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league match on Friday, December 8. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 5-4. Wink won 40-31 in their recent non-league match against Reagan County (Big Lake, TX)
