Sabinal Yellowjackets (Sabinal, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Junction Eagles (Junction, TX), 31-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sabinal upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Varsity Opponent (, ) to play the in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The go into the bout with a record of 31-132.

Next up, the Eagles play the Johnson City Eagles (Johnson City, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 29 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Junction will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
